On April 1, 2006,
TOYOTA TSUSHO CORPORATION and TOMEN CORPORATION
marked a new beginning by merging to form the New TOYOTA TSUSHO
CORPORATION, with the aim of further improving corporate value.

The U.S. dollar
amounts have been translated from the amounts stated in
yen, solely for the convenience of the reader outside Japan, at the
rate of ¥118.05=U.S.$1, the approximate exchange rate on March 31,
2007, which was the final business day of financial institutions in
fiscal 2007.

Commission Income
was included in Net Sales from fiscal 2007, as a
result of the reconsideration of the presentation of consolidated
financial statements.

Effective from the
fiscal year ended March 31, 2007, the Company and
its consolidated subsidiaries adopted the “Accounting Standard for
Presentation of Net Assets in the Balance Sheet.” The details are
described in the Notes to Consolidated Financial Statements.
