In November 2000, Kesko’s wholesale sales were effected on 22 days, which was same as in November 1999. The total number of trading days in January-November was two more than during the same period in 1999.
Kesko’s grocery sales to the Anttila grocery retailers were transferred from the Home and Speciality Goods Division to the Foodstuffs Division at the turn of the year. In November 1999, the sales were MFIM 64.3 (MEUR 10.8). In January-November 1999, the sales were MFIM 646.9 (MEUR 108.8). The change in the Foodstuffs Division’s sales, in comparable figures, was 2.1% in November 2000 and 2.5% in 1.1.-30.11.2000, and the corresponding figures of the Home and Speciality Goods Division were -8.4% and -7.5%.
