Anne Brunila: Fortum recognised as the leading utility in climate disclosure index globally

Fortum's work on promoting sustainability and climate change mitigation has
received two important international recognitions: Fortum was ranked the best
utility in Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI) scoring 97/100 points and
was the only Nordic company included in the index. Fortum was also listed in
the Dow Jones Sustainability Index DJSI World for the ninth consecutive year.

Fortum's long-term objective is to transfer to a so called solar economy where
energy is produced primarily with renewable energy sources and without CO2

mentioned in the assessment.
The Dow Jones Sustainability Index is created by evaluating the sustainability
activities of 2,500 of the world's largest companies. In 2011, altogether 342
companies were selected for the index. The Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index
compares 52 Global 500 Index companies and their measures on climate issues.
