Toyobo Co., Ltd. will participate in A+A 2017, the largest international trade fair for safety, security and health at work, to be held on October 17-20 in Dusseldorf, Germany.The Toyobo booth will showcase Toyobo Group’s high value-added products associated with work safety.

4. About “A+A 2017”
“A+A” is the world’s largest trade fair for machines, equipment, products and technologies for personal protection, health management at work, workplace safety, and protective measures against natural disasters and unforeseen accidents. This year will mark the 31st edition of the biennial fair.
5. Toyobo products to be exhibited
・Tsunooga®
This high-strength polyethylene fiber developed with Toyobo’s original technology has excellent resistance to cutting. Toyobo hopes to broaden the scope of the fiber’s use beyond safety gloves and other personal protective equipment.
・Lumiart
This fluorescent fabric meets the requirements of ISO20471:2013, an international standard for highly visible clothing. The fabric’s high visibility helps ensure the safety of workers. Toyobo can manufacture Lumiart from 100 percent polyester or polyester mixed with cotton or flame-retardant acrylic fibers.
